Q. hybridization, electronic geometry, and observable geometry of the oxygen atom
Solutions state its sp2, trigonal planar, bent
I am confused - the oxygen looks like it is sp3, tetrahedral, bent. The oxygen atom has 2 sigma bonds and 2 sets of lone pair electrons. What am I doing wrong here?
