I'm probably risking a few jokes about my neuroticism with this post but how much detail should I go into while I'm studying from my prep books? I understand the general consensus is just know the big picture but it feels so weird to skim over something without worrying about it. One example from my prep book is the different types of rRNA subunits (5s, 5.8s, 28s) and their functions. My bio course didn't even touch on this so would this be too much detail to try and memorize?
